Jazz Lingard

ABOUT JAZZ

LIVE RECORDINGS

Jazz Lingard is a singer-songwriter and self-taught producer from Louth, Lincolnshire. She combines storytelling with dreamy melodies, creating an intimate atmosphere influenced by Birdy, Wolf Alice and Radiohead. As a writer of poetry and short stories from a young age, Jazz taught herself to play guitar after being inspired by Taylor Swift.

Soon after, she began playing gigs and gaining support from her local BBC Introducing team, with all of her tracks being written and produced from her bedroom. Jazz released her debut album ‘Blame It On The Moon’ independently in 2019, which has since had over 17,000 streams.

Jazz toured the album up and down the country at indie venues such as Rescue Rooms, ending with 2Q Festival Lincoln where she played alongside Holly Humberstone. Over the past year Jazz has been keeping her online audience entertained with her ‘Sing You to Sleep’ livestream; half an hour of chilled out covers and original songs.

In April Jazz released her first collaboration single ‘I Think I’m Fine’ with Dear Sid. Jazz is currently in the process of recording her first EP.

“Woodley Moss Studios was an absolute joy to visit. Everyone made us feel welcome and provided a comfortable environment to perform in. Brilliant recording and mixing by Connor and Josh with great equipment and sound quality. Not to mention the unique and hand-crafted space of the studio itself, all situated in the quiet countryside.”
