Kellys love of singing started at an early age, singing along to her favourite songs and performing in front of whoever would listen! It wasn’t until university that she found her true voice performing at local open mic evenings, both alongside other musicians and as a soloist. This also inspired her love of songwriting. 

Kelly has worked with musician and music producer Kev Andrews, who discovered James Morrison, writing original songs and recording music in the studio. During her time living in Lincolnshire, Kelly has won the RAF Idol competition which led to her singing alongside the RAF Swing Wing from RAF Cranwell at Lincoln Drill Hall, as well as Whitley Hall and The Petwood Hotel. 

In recent years Kelly has specialised in 1940s and 1950s where her voice truly transcends the feel of the era, singing the hits of Vera Lynn, The Andrews Sisters, Doris Day, and Ella Fitzgerald to name a few. This had led her to performing at a variety of events such as 1940s weekends across the country, countywide shows and private functions. Kelly is not a one – trick pony, her vocal talents mean that she can take on songs from the 40/50s as well as more current songs from artists such as Amy Winehouse, Beyonce, Eva Cassidy and vintage inspired acts such as Postmodern Jukebox.
