LIVE RECORDINGS
Kumas are a Pop Rock outfit Hailing from Scunthorpe. Formed in 2015 after a mildly successful stint under another moniker, Archie and Corey decided to recruit casual metal roadie Jack Rayner before eventually recruiting Archie’s brother, Jake Wilkinson to form this power group.
The outfit played their breakthrough gig on February 1st 2020, where they supported the mighty WOES at Cafe Independent in Scunthorpe. The band’s goal is to create bouncy, addictive, make-ya-wanna-move, pop bangers and build a dedicated fanbase that will strap in for the ride no matter where the road leads. Separation Anxiety has been their first release since May 2019 along with Ricochet in 2020.
Kumas are now focused on giving it their all this year. They have their heads nailed in the studio and are creating some of their best songs yet. Prepare your ears for all the upcoming releases! FFO – blink-182, Mcfly, Busted, The Killers, The 1975, WSTR, With Confidence follow Kumas on all major social media platforms.
“We had a day at Woodley Moss and we got four songs and a livestream done, not only did we get a lot done the quality was (chef's kiss). Gotta say it was lovely to be in a proper studio with technicians who know what they're doing, it's nice to be able to focus on performing without worrying about production cause my guy had it on lock. Having headphone monitors is fantastic, a lot of times you'll end up with a half working monitor and not be able to hear yourself but at Woodley I could hear everything. All in the day was fantastic and we got some super crisp quality recordings and video. Even got a free beer.”
