Based in Normanby, Scunthorpe, Woodley Moss is situated in a quiet, picturesque location away from noise, hustle and distractions. Those who have visited Woodley Moss Studios mention the relaxed and creative atmosphere it provides.
We are comprised of 3 functional rooms:
THE LOUNGE (LIVE ROOM)
THE BOOTH (RECORDING BOOTH)
THE DESK (CONTROL ROOM)
Large enough to comfortably fit an entire band, The Lounge has a beautiful room sound. Equipped with a drum riser, stage boxes, lighting rig and 6-channel headphone amplifier – it’s the perfect place to capture the sonic nuances and visual energy of live performances.
Void of all room sound reflections, The Booth is ideal for tracking instruments separately to obtain the cleanest possible sources of audio. It also offers a comfortable space for solo artists and duos looking for a more detailed capture of their live performance.
The home of our mixing and recording equipment including an iMac Pro Black computer, UAD consoles, live video mixers, monitors etc. Built and tested for optimum audio playback in a transparent format, it’s a dream space for mixing, mastering, video editing and any other post-production work.
All of our rooms have been soundproofed to minimise noise entering or escaping to ensure the highest quality of audio can be captured. With both recording rooms fitted with floating floors and all rooms acoustically treated and tested.
